In celebration of the Africa Day 2008, The African Diplomatic Corps and the United Nations University co-organized a symposium entitled “Africa’s Food Situation: From Crisis to Opportunities, New Perspective for Africa” at U Thant International Conference Hall, United Nations University Headquarters Tokyo. The symposium was opened by welcome remarks from Mr. Konrad Osterwalder, Rector, UNU and H.E. Mr. Elly Elikunda Elineema Mtango, Ambassador of Tanzania and Dean of the African Diplomatic Corps (ADC).
