The African Diplomatic Corps (ADC) held its monthly meeting on May 2009, at the Nippon Foundation. The meeting was hosted by the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco led by H.E. Mr. Samir ARROUR, Ambassador of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Morocco to Japan, and chaired by the Dean of the ADC H.E. Mr. Jean-Christian OBAME, Ambassador of Gabon to Japan.

Several issues were considered and included in the Agenda:

- The report by the ADC-Tourism Committee on the preparation of the Asia –Africa Business Forum (AABF) to be held in Uganda in June 2009 and focusing on tourism;

- The report of the Media and Cultural Affairs Committee on the Reception held on May 12, 2009 at the Embassy of Egypt (Please click on the following links to download the Report and the Speech of the Dean);
